Our History

In 2007 we lost our beloved Newfoundland dog, ‘Rumpole’ and were trying to locate a suitable urn for his ashes. Being 85kgs we had to find an urn meant for human cremains to hold all of his ashes.  During our quest to find him a suitable urn we were surprised at the overall lack of original and contemporary designs. We wanted something to capture his characteristics and that would be different to the usual vase-shaped urns. There were very few options around so we decided to source our own from overseas. We settled on some beautiful handmade ceramic pieces that looked more like a stunning art-deco sculpture which we would be proud to display in our home. Word spread through friends about our purchase and others requested similar items.

We also wanted to keep a little of his ashes close to our hearts and thereby found the Madelyn Company range of memorial jewellery.  A little of his ashes and some fur were  put inside our pendants and the rest are placed in the new ceramic urn.

After our experience we really wanted to be able to help others in their time off loss by sharing the urns and jewellery we found together with a large array of others that are beautiful, contemporary and of the highest quality - pieces to celebrate the life of their loved ones and pets.
